Faculty

My name is Lisa Beardshear and I was named Principal at St. Pius X School July 1, 2010.  Prior to St. Pius X, I was elementary principal for Monte Cassino in Tulsa.  Although my teaching career began in the public school system in Southern California, I've been involved in Catholic education since 1996. 

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Sociology from Tulsa University and a Masters in Human Relations from Oklahoma University.  I earned my teaching credential from California State University and my Administrative credential from Northeastern State University.

I enjoy trying to keep up with my teenage daughters, attending sporting events, concerts, reading and walking my dog.   

I was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas. I attended Washburn University, where I earned a Bacehelor's in Education and a Master's in Educational Administration. When I got married, I moved to Oklahoma. In my career I have taught a variety of ages and subject areas, as well as been an Assistant Principal and the Curriculum Coordinator for the Diocese. My family attends St. Pius X Church and my two children go to St. Pius X School.
